NaNoWriMo and deleting Facebook

I deleted Facebook and Instagram when they blocked access to my page and my fotos and videos and forced me as their costumer to comply by answering two questions. What happened was that they violated peoples integrity with their new policy and was sued by Norway and then EU. To get around this they quickly blocked peoples profiles and asked two questions:

1. Pay us to not see ads

or

2 let us use all your information to use Facebook for free...

Of course they are banking on the fact that most people just want to get back to posting and chatting or what ever.

They are not going to take the time to actually read the fine print. And all people that comply... are now saying that it is alright and that all of what Norway and EU is trying to protect them from. Is not important.

Very clever...

The big question is... When they get access to ALL your information, then YOU HAVE NO control over WHAT they do with it. NONE!

What happens the NEXT TIME they update their integrity policy? What are they going to ask for then?

Maybe your medical records... I think they have gone WAY TO FAR.

It is scary to see how trusting people are, and I feel like they have been lulled into this false sense of security that doesn't exist. Facebook and all complanies that sell your information NEVER pay you for letting them use it.

They just want you to give it so that they can get rich off of your information.

Anyway, Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp are apps I will never use again.

The way they did this, blocking the profiles and forcing people to submit:

NOT GIVING PEOPLE ANY WAY TO OPT OUT.

Showed me what kind of company they have become, I choose to not give them anything.

I think you should do the same. Read the fine print and delete delete delete.
