A prophetic prophecy promises death to the fire giant Surt, and he immediately sets out to stop it at all costs. In Asgard Skuld, one of the powerful Norns sees a grim vision. She firmly maintains that the royal family in Midgard is in grave danger. The Allfather promptly sends out three of his battle Valkyries from Asgard to the magic kingdom of Rome. Their mission is to locate and to stay and protect the royal family until the danger has passed. Trud, Skuld, and Hild arrive in Rome, but sometimes things don’t go as planned.

The Crown Prince is the first book in the Kongahälla Legend book series.

To grow up among humans is hard. You can't tell them anything about what happened. Not who you are. Where you're from. You have to pretend that you are like everyone else. That magic isn't real. It's harder than you think.

"I know this one just came out, but I am already anxiously awaiting the third. " -Ben Thompson

This relationship wasn’t working. I am a Valkyrie. I can never become what he wants me to be. It is impossible! I knew I had no other option than to end our relationship. A raven flew toward me, a small black dot against the clear horizon. It landed on my arm. I rolled out the note in my hand. My eyes widened, my hand started shaking. I starred at the writing. I couldn’t believe it. It couldn’t be true. I glanced over at Skuld and Trud before I turned my large battle horse and rode back.

“Hild where are you going!” Trud called, but I didn’t answer her.

I should have protected him, and if this was true… then he was gone.

This is the third book in the Kongahälla Legend book series.

"If you haven't read this series you should. I highly recommend it...." - Ben Thompson

I can't wait for all of you to read this fourth book in the series. We are getting closer to the end of the story about Hild and Arnor. I needed to write another book to wrap up all the different story threads. Book 5 will be the end of this story about the Valkyrie and her prince.

Book 4 takes place in Midgard, in a real place just like Kongahälla is real too. I like that some things are real, it makes it even more interesting. I hope you will enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Book 5 doesn't have a name yet, but the story is already written. It is the wrap up of all the storylines that has been followed throughout the series. I am hoping to have it release in 2025.

This map shows Kongahälla with its bridges and the moat. In the first, and second book it is the old trade city, the most Southern city in Norway during Viking times. In the harbor, ships loaded and unloaded things for trade, and on the other side of The North River. The Ragnhild fortress protected the city from the South.

During the middle ages The King's River with the beautiful wooden castle was a melting pod and full of trade for the whole area.

The perfect place to take out tax from passing ships. Over the centuries it was Norwegian and Swedish.  When it was under Norwegian rule the Sweds had to pay tax when they needed to reach the sea.
